For lunch, we chose Fins & Ribs, a restaurant located at the intersection of the beach and Corso Street. We had the option of dining outdoors with a view of the sea or sitting inside. Having been in Australia for quite a few days without yet trying the lobster, I ordered half a lobster, along with a steak and a salad—after all, one needs some hearty red meat to feel truly satisfied. For a restaurant in such a prime location, it offered excellent value; the food quality was great, and the prices were reasonable. As our trip was drawing to a close, I still had some leftover cash—both notes and coins—so I used it all up at the restaurant; the staff helped me count the cash, and I paid the remaining balance by credit card.
We choose this restaurant today for lunch in Manly. Ordered hoki fillets and chips, prawn linguine, and pork ribs. Fish & chips nice and crispy but they use sweet chili for salad dressing. Prawn linguine pasta taste like bought bolognese jar from supermarket. Overall is good. Nice beach view from the restaurant.
Had lunch here today in Manly and it was exactly the kind of place you want by the beach. The ambience is laid-back and unpretentious, making it easy to relax and take your time. We had a table with a clear view of the beach, which added to the experience. The food was consistently good, fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying without being overdone. Overall, a very enjoyable lunch spot with a great setting. Would definitely come back.
If you're looking for a quality meal in front of Manly Beach, this is a strong contender. The oysters were really fresh, and the grilled barramundi didn't disappoint. Everything from the fish to the sides was consistently good. A reliable, delicious option by the water.
I had the grilled fish with salad and veggies. The fish was very fresh but could be seasoned better. The salad was quite good but the veggies had almost no seasoning. It’s in a nice spot and reasonably priced with excellent service. It’s possible the fried dishes are better but I wasn’t really satiated from my meal. They let us swap chips for veggies for an additional charge
