I only visited this place after seeing it recommended by influencers online. The flavor is good, but the steamed pork ribs were way too fatty—it was basically all fat. I'd still come back to try other dishes next time, though.

I’ve been coming to Fish Boy for quite a long time, and it’s always been consistently good. The wonton noodles are one of my go-to dishes — the wontons are fresh with a generous filling, the skin is thin, and the noodles have a great texture. The broth is light but still full of flavor. I also really like their melon & bitter melon juice. It’s surprisingly refreshing, not overly bitter, with a mild sweetness that balances the meal nicely. Simple, comforting food done right. Definitely a place I keep coming back to.

Visiting this place multiple times just to savor their incredible fish fried rice, which is perfectly steamed in a bamboo steamer. Every visit is a delight, not only because of the food but also thanks to the amazing staff who consistently go above and beyond. Additionally, they offer a variety of frozen dishes that you can take home to enjoy, making it easy to experience their delicious flavors anytime!

The food is pretty good. Chicken was fantastic as were the xo prawns with vermicelli. Service is fairly no frills - but expected. Whilst the prices seem "high[er]" than expected (probably due to the decor and location) and being more in line with larger Chinese restaurants, this is more than made up for in ingredients and taste. There's also a live seafood menu but you need to let them know one day in advance. (I saw others ordering - it looked and smelled great.)

Overpriced but didn’t deliver the food quality n environment. Went there for lunch with hopes of decent food due to good reviews n past tasting of their fish balls n fried foods. Left disappointed. Hubby ordered their beef brisket with rice. Rice wasn’t fresh, it tasted like leftover rice that wasn’t heated well. Beef brisket in terms of flavour was ok like u get in hk, but the let down was the chewiness of the beef brisket. It needs more cooking time to tenderise the meat. I got their signature fish ball noodles. The soup was quite bland as in it was like boiling water diluting the soup itself, even though it claims it’s fish soup. The shallot fish balls were the only thing that tasted ok. The curry fish balls, pig skin n radish was also a disappointment. The radish wasn’t cooked enough. It was still raw. The pig skin n fish ball was cooked. The sauce was bland/too watery, what happened to their curry sauce? It was more like curry oil? The drinks were ok. Lemon tea was like in hk n the bitter melon n honeydew melon smoothie was very nice n refreshing. Got some takeaway frozen foods. The lady kept leaving things out. Took their signature cart noodles home to eat. Again disappointed! The sauce was so scarce I had to add satay sauce myself to hv my noodles with! The said fish paste wrapped in bean curd was missing from my package! Ridiculous! Felt so cheated! Price of their products went up but their food quality plummeted significantly! What happened to them?
