Firstly— they welcomed us kindly and warmly, second they assured us the meals would taste good and had a nice chat with us—- and last—- the food and coffee was amazing!!! I would definitely come back for the turkey croque! And the buttermilk pancakes were warm and buttery. Coffee was lovely, cold brew was strong kinda fruity kinda citrusy. The pink grapefruit drink was great. The crema on the coffee was perfect… I don’t know how to describe it .!

This was my first visit to the new Sydney Fish Market, and breakfast at Touch Wood made it a memorable one. The setting overlooking Blackwattle Bay is lovely and makes for a relaxing start to the day. I had the buckwheat porridge, while my partner ordered the eggs & anchovy soldiers, and both dishes were beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The menu feels thoughtful and a little different from the usual café offerings. To drink, I chose the Ruby Healing juice with pineapple, orange, carrot and beetroot. It was fresh, vibrant and very refreshing. The tea and coffee were both excellent as well. The service was warm and attentive throughout, and the whole experience felt polished without being pretentious. Touch Wood is a fantastic addition to the new Sydney Fish Market, and I’ll certainly be back to explore more of the menu.

Lovely little seafood restaurant at the new Sydney Fish Market. Fresh seafood, delicious sides, and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere. Everything was well prepared and full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a great seafood meal in Sydney! 🦞🦪😋

Really nice experience to be able to sit down and enjoy the seafood dishes at Touch Wood. The restaurant is overlooking the harbour, located on the outside deck out from the inner market area. It serves as a light-hearted oasis from the many take-away food stalls that some may not prefer their offerings of pre-made food. Here you get fresh, home-cooked food with better local dish options than what you find inside the market. And much more comfortable seating and beautiful outdoor views!

Excellent new brunch place in the fish market, probably has the only and best fish inspired brunch in all of Sydney. If you’re at fish market, this spot is the main breakfast brunch spot. Highly recommend the anchovies toast soldiers. It has the best seated view in the whole fish market And the best Coffee in the whole fish market.
